The thought of going through recruitment had never crossed my mind until I was at a week of welcome event. I decided to sign up and during recruitment, the nerves were definitely there walking into every house. When I walked into ΑΟΠ, it was so exciting but I felt relaxed. I was taken into the arms of a few girls who each had a unique story to share about how ΑΟΠ had impacted their life. On preference night, a girl that I barely knew wiped tears off of my face. That girl is now my sweet big. I have 3 brothers and 2 younger sisters, so finally having a big sister(or 100+) is the greatest thing. I now live in the ΑΟΠ house and I miss my family less because I'm not stuck in a tiny concrete dorm room. I have a home with 19 other girls that make you feel like you're having a sleepover every night! They care for me, they love me, and they would do anything for me. I couldn't ask for more. I will always hold ΑΟΠ in a special place in my heart! -Laken Evans {PC '15}

Going Greek is such an amazing experience. I met so many wonderful people and made so many great friendships that will last a lifetime! I have to say though, finding AOII has been THE highlight of my life. I am surrounded by people who always have my back no matter the circumstance and help me become the best person I can be. I feel like the luckiest gal in the world when I have my sisters by my side! -Lauren Davis {PC '15}
Being from Murfreesboro I was so nervous that I would be stuck around the same people from high school in college. Through AOII I have met sisters that will be my friends forever. I even met sisters from Murfreesboro that were quick to become great friends. - Ryleigh Harbin {PC '15} |
